Sage Green

I began these beautiful wrist-warmers a few nights ago. The pattern takes little effort and the yarn is so easy to work with. I usually have a love/hate relationship with cotton. This ball is nothing but love. Yet, I am scared I am running out of yarn. I do not have any more of this type. I am holding my breath that I have enough. Time will tell if I wasted the past few nights on this project. Wish me luck!

Jenny..my first little bunny

This little bunny was a long time coming. I have been working on a bunny patttern for over a month now. There was always something wrong. A body too puffy....a head too long....an ear too wide. I finally merged a pattern from www.fuzzymittens.etsy.com and www.twinsknit.com and my perfect little bunny started to take shape. I also wanted to use up some of my stash....but oh no....my bunny is too good for that. It only wants the best, the highest quality of yarn that is offered. And so I got to visit my favourite little knitting shop! (Can't you see I am sad).

Here she is.....Jenny.

Here she is getting into her modelling job....

Of course as soon as my little girl came home from school and saw Jenny she put on her pleading eyes. I reminded her of all the reject bunnies (didn't call them that as that would be mean) she got. So Jenny is the first bunny in my shop www.grizzlie.etsy.com.  Her views are low so far, but I am not going to tell her. She thinks she is the hottest thing since sliced bread ;)

Charity Knits

I made a promise to myself that I was going to knit more for charity than I do. A few of my items were autioned off last year at some events, but I would really like to see some of my pieces go to homeless shelters and hospitals. Then I found casting off the cold here in Toronto. http://www.castingoffthecold.ca Yesterday I dropped off a load of things.

It was so exciting to think who these were going to.....

Nothing feels as good as giving....plain and simple.

Decorating My Creative Space

I have had a vision in my mind for such a long time now, on what to put on an empty wall in my studio. And then I saw it! This....

And it had these.....

So I bought these....

And crocheted some of these.....

Searched through these....

And when put together....made these!

So pretty....

And now when I walk by...I smile.

The little flowers were from a pattern on www.attic24blogpot.com . If you don't know Lucy, her creativity and patterns already.....you are going to thank me for guiding you to her. She is a true inspiration.
