Jenny..my first little bunny

This little bunny was a long time coming. I have been working on a bunny patttern for over a month now. There was always something wrong. A body too puffy....a head too long....an ear too wide. I finally merged a pattern from www.fuzzymittens.etsy.com and www.twinsknit.com and my perfect little bunny started to take shape. I also wanted to use up some of my stash....but oh no....my bunny is too good for that. It only wants the best, the highest quality of yarn that is offered. And so I got to visit my favourite little knitting shop! (Can't you see I am sad).

Here she is.....Jenny.

Here she is getting into her modelling job....

Of course as soon as my little girl came home from school and saw Jenny she put on her pleading eyes. I reminded her of all the reject bunnies (didn't call them that as that would be mean) she got. So Jenny is the first bunny in my shop www.grizzlie.etsy.com.  Her views are low so far, but I am not going to tell her. She thinks she is the hottest thing since sliced bread ;)

Shipping Out

Orders ready to be shipped. It always makes me think about the home they are going to. Where will they live? A drawer or a hook? Will they become the person's favourite scarf? Will they travel on a train to work or wisk through the city on a bike? I wish they could write me a letter telling me about their new life and their new adventures. But I need to let them go...and know they are loved.

Charity Piece for October

I am very excited about my new plan. Every month one piece in my shop will be my 'charity piece' and all my profits from that piece will be donated to a different charity.

Introducing my new piece for Hope And The City. A wonderful event run by the Canadian Cancer Society-South York Region Unit.
