Warm Hands
I am about half way done my teacher gifts. I LOVE giving my kids teachers a hand knitted item from my shop. Being a former teacher myself, that 15 minutes on yard duty in the dead of winter can feel like a week. Hand warmers or a scarf or cowl is the best gift they could get!!! I try to match the style and colour with their personality and style. These striped hand warmers are perfect for my son's young, hip grade seven teacher.

Pattern Writing
For quite a while now I wanted to write some new patterns and put them in my shop to buy. This week I was asked by a few people and it gave me the push I needed. So here is my first pattern for sale. It is a great little cuff bracelet that can be made quickly and doesn't take up a lot of yarn. Stocking stuffer? Quick holiday project? I can see this as a great gift for that teenager that is so hard to buy for.....
I have to say I really enjoyed writing it out and adding pictures as I went along. Now I am just thinking what my next pattern will be.......
